This resurfacing project features durable composite decking from Trex with elegant tan flat railings, decorative dividers, and a refined picture frame layout. The design is enhanced with black aluminum balusters and a clean finish using tan PVC fascia, offering a modern, stylish, and low-maintenance outdoor space.

Using high-quality PVC fascia and Trex composite decking ensures exceptional durability and weather resistance while maintaining a sleek, consistent look. These materials resist moisture, fading, and rot—delivering a low-maintenance surface compared to natural wood.
For this project we tightened the frame with targeted joist blocking in traffic lanes, applied flashing tape on horizontals, and used a hidden-fastener system to keep the field clean and screw-free. Divider/picture-frame boards sharpen the perimeter and help control board direction on longer runs.
We also planned for the future: consistent drainage & ventilation gaps, code-rated hardware, and pre-run wiring for optional step/rail lighting. The result is a quiet, solid deck that’s ready for daily use now—and upgrades later.
